Aalsmeer transformed into one large floral village during the last weekend of June for the annual FlowerFestival. This year's theme, Masterpieces, brought art and flowers together in a truly inspiring way. In the Mennonite Church, works of art were paired with floral arrangements, with each artwork interpreted as a unique floral creation.
Pracht en Praam at the Historical Garden celebrated Aalsmeer's rich heritage. Floral design students, guided by local floral designers, transformed traditional Aalsmeer barges into floating works of art, a beautiful showcase of creativity, craftsmanship and collaboration.
Growers, artists, visitors and flower enthusiasts came together to experience the many ways flowers inspire and connect people. From impressive floral displays and historic barges to inspiring encounters, FlowerFestival Aalsmeer once again demonstrated the unique power of flowers to bring people together.
