In January 2022, Jan de Boer made the decision to transfer Barendsen B.V. to the Dutch Flower Group, marking the start of a period of significant change. To ensure the transition went as smoothly as possible, Jan graciously supported our new director, Richard Koenen, over the past three years with his guidance and advice. Many of you likely saw him regularly at various events where he continued to represent Barendsen, as he always had.
From January 2025, this close collaboration will evolve. Jan will shift his focus to other pursuits, which has been his plan all along. We are sincerely grateful to Jan for his unwavering support and assistance during these past three years. With fresh energy and in a new capacity, we will continue building a bright and thriving future for Barendsen.
Jan has a deep passion for flowers and people and will remain dedicated to connecting the two in the time ahead.
