A creative and cultural experience that inspired, involved and united participants from four continents. From 14 to 16 November, an exclusive three day masterclass took place in the historic heart of Rome, organised by Marcella Salvagni in collaboration with McQueens Flower School London, floral designer Dylan Tripp and Janine Sultana. In the unique setting of Spazio Mala, participants immersed themselves in the world of high end floral design.

During these days, a valuable exchange of ideas, techniques and visions took place, where diversity transformed into shared strength. From elegant tablescapes to wild autumn arrangements and a large scale floral installation, everything revolved around creativity and craftsmanship. Barendsen proudly supplied the flowers and gave two participants the opportunity to experience this special masterclass up close. An inspiring blend of British finesse and Italian flair.

Flowers, food, art, history and culture formed the soul of the Eternal City and provided the backdrop for learning, connecting and growing. It fostered personal and professional growth that will linger long after the event.
The visit to the Galleria Borghese offered a moment of pure wonder. Bernini’s lifelike marble sculptures and the powerful expression in Caravaggio’s paintings left a deep impression — moments that will remain a lasting source of inspiration.
