Porta Nova has been a frontrunner in sustainable rose cultivation for years. Thanks to their innovative approach and major investments, they have reduced CO₂ emissions by 95% and now grow entirely without fossil gas.
100% green energy: Since November 2023, the nursery runs entirely on sustainable electricity, largely generated from wind energy.
Climator system: Heat from summer is stored underground and reused in winter, eliminating the need for gas.
LED lighting: Smart LED lighting reduces energy consumption by 40% and ensures optimal light conditions.
100% rainwater: All water is collected, purified and reused in a closed system.
